A Comedian’s Start

Bill Dana ’50 hams it up at a Halloween event during his Emerson days in this undated archival photo. Dana enjoyed a 40-year career as a comedian, writer, and actor, getting his start with The Steve Allen Show and The Danny Thomas Show. He was integral in creating the American Comedy Archives at Emerson College in 2005, which includes interviews with a number of comedy greats.
