We understand that everyone’s story is different, but for so many of our current students and alumni, Emerson represents the beginning of their Pride experience; it’s the place where they found their voices and found themselves. We think that is something worth celebrating, and that is why we are throwing a party—a big one.

For the entire month of June, we will be celebrating our LGBTQIA+ Emersonians and raising money for funds and initiatives that directly benefit our student community, with a full schedule of virtual events. Join us for drag bingo, intersectional panels, a look back on Emerson Pride through the years, and so much more. And when you make a gift June 1–30, you’ll receive a limited edition Emerson Pride pin as a thank you!

We cannot wait to celebrate Pride with our pride—52,000+ fierce alumni—and hope you’ll join us and help us support the next generation of LGBTQIA+ Emersonians.

LGBTQIA+ Pride Emerge Group

In preparation for our big Pride celebration, we have created an LGBTQIA+ group on emerge.emerson.edu. Join us there for some special Pride discussions! (And if you’re not on Emerge already, what are you waiting for? Set up your profile today! As one alum said, it’s “like LinkedIn and Craigslist had a baby…in the Little Building.”)
