Always Emersonian
While I’ve been an alum of Emerson for over 30 years, I am just wrapping up my first six months as the new associate vice president of alumni relations. As the primary contact for alumni, it has been a pleasure to hear from and meet so many of our alumni from across the country. I’ve truly enjoyed learning about all that you are doing in the world.
As my work in this role continues, I look forward to meeting many more of our over 51,000 alumni across the globe! To that end, we are planning in-person alumni social events in a number of US cities throughout 2025,
including Philadelphia, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta, and many more. Make sure you are signed up to receive emails from us; keep an eye on our alumni events page and our social media channels to ensure you don’t miss the invite! See the list of cities we’ll be visiting in 2025.
As Emerson moves toward its sesquicentennial, there is renewed energy around engaging and supporting our alumni. We are actively working to expand our offering of networking events, professional development resources, and programs designed specifically for alumni. We are collaborating with members of our Alumni Board to serve as partners in guiding the direction of the College, and in working to increase its resources through a variety of committees and activities.
We have also received the results of our 2024 Alumni Survey that we conducted in the spring and summer. Know that the Alumni Relations team is already using the feedback to inform programming and decision-making. We are grateful for all who participated in the survey and are excited to begin implementing the suggestions and guidance received.
Thank you for your continued commitment and interest in Emerson College and our alumni community. I look forward to working with you and welcome any feedback or suggestions you may have.
Even though you are no longer a student, Emerson College is always here for you. Remember, once an Emersonian, always an Emersonian. The Emerson Alumni Association is your community, now and forever.
