If you had infinite time, money, and resources, what one big idea would you pursue? That’s the question we posed to 12 Emersonians earlier this year. As you’ll read the responses and ideas we received are thought-provoking, creative, and dynamic.
We had been planning for this magazine to land in mailboxes in mid-May. But in the weeks leading up to Commencement, our community was becoming increasingly divided, following student protests on our campus related to the current geopolitical landscape. As emotions ran high on campus this spring, it didn’t feel right to print this magazine as scheduled. As such, we decided to hold the magazine for just a beat. We used the time to update a few items to acknowledge and reflect on this past spring’s events.
Emerson always has been–and always will be–a place that values civil discourse and civic engagement. And Emersonians are teeming with passion and ideas. This magazine is a window into just some of that creativity.
Thanks for reading.
